When we receive evidence of your barcode ownership, we will activate your barcode numbers for registration.     When you buy Barcode Registration, you can register your barcode number and product details on the International Barcodes Database. The data registered on that database is also filtered to several other significant online databases. Please insert your barcode number(s) in the “additional information” section during the checkout process. Upon receiving your order, we will send you an email requesting proof of ownership to verify that you are the rightful owner of your barcode number. Afterward, we will activate your barcode number for registration and provide instructions on registering it. Please note that registration is offered for free if one of our Barcode Packages is purchased.

Barcode registration is an optional service that we provide to enhance the online presence of your product. Although registering your barcodes online is not mandatory and there is no central database for barcodes, there are numerous advantages to taking advantage of this service.

Barcode registration comes free with our barcode packages so this product should only be bought if you got a barcode that wasn’t included in a barcode package.

  2. Barcode registration will increase the internet profile of the product so that when the barcode is searched for on Google or another search engine the product information will appear.
  3. Registering a barcode on internet databases can deter individuals from unlawfully using barcode numbers on platforms like Amazon. A swift online search indicating that the barcode number is already in use will discourage their use. While legitimately sold barcode numbers cannot be used illegally, such usage can cause inconvenience to the lawful owner of the barcode number. This can be prevented straightforwardly by registering the barcode.

NOTE – we will require proof of your ownership of the barcode number to verify your registration. This ensures that the barcode number belongs to you. Please email us proof of ownership after you place your order.
