Barcode Company Prefix

Some manufacturers wish to have a unique company prefix for their barcodes.

There are only two ways to get a company prefix like this – you can either join GS1 (and pay their high joining fee and annual fees for the duration of your product’s lifespan) or buy barcodes from us in sets of 10, 100, 1000 or 10,000. We are the sole barcode vendor that offers exclusive company prefixes like this.

If you buy one barcode, you won’t get a company prefix because no barcode company provides it.

If you buy barcodes from us in bundles of 10, 100, 1000, etc., they will have a unique prefix assigned to your company.
The prefix’s length depends on how many variations are needed to have a total of 13 digits.
For example, if you purchase 10 barcode numbers, your company prefix will consist of the first 11 digits. The 12th digit will range from 0 to 9, giving you 10 distinct barcode numbers. Lastly, a calculated checksum makes up the 13th digit.
If you buy 20 barcode numbers, you’ll receive 2 company prefixes (with 10 barcodes each).
If you buy 100 barcode numbers, the first 10 digits are your company prefix, the 11th and 12th digits will range from 00-99 (giving you 100 different barcode numbers), and the last digit is a calculated checksum.
